Davegtst - 7/1/11 at 09:14 AM

I'm after a few 90 degree elbows 25mm id. My useless local gates stockist says they don't exist but cbs sell them so they must do. These are the ones i'm after but i want to get them locally as i get trade discount. Does anyone have a part number for them?

How many are you after and how much discount do you get? I would have thought the ones on the link are a reasonable price but I am probably wrong

Just have a look in the Gates catalogue - they are listed in size order so shouldn't be too hard to find. That's how I got all of my hoses including the really odd sizes

I have a bit of cash to lose aswell which is why i want to get them locally along with some other bits. Not really fussed about silicon. They are about twice the price without any benifit apart from looks.

Just checked my email. I emailed Gates this morning not expecting a reply. Fantastic service.

David,

Yes…. we do a range of 90 degree elbows in different sizes. We do these in black rubber and also in green silicone. The 25,, id part numbers are as follows.

Black standard rubber – 4278-17028

Green Silicone – 4281-17128

I.D. – 25mm

O.D. – 34mm

Arm length – 150mm

Bend Radius – 30mm

I have attached a leaflet on the 4281 silicone hose and an image of the standard hose. Any motor factor who deals with Ferraris Piston Services would be able to get either of the above hoses. Ferraris deliver to almost every factor from their 20 branch network several times a day so your stockist would be able to get something for you fairly quickly.

Best regards,
