My Rover 25 has died and I need to transport it from Glossop to just off J21 on the M60 (15 miles).

Does anyone know of any transportation companies nearby? I am trying to find someone without a high minimum charge.

Typically my RAC cover has just come to an end.

Untill a week ago I could have lent you a dolly trailer. I've used a guy called JR Singleton in the past he's based in Mottram. I'll u2u his phone number. He's been reliable but I can't remember costs. Also had Metcalfs recovery come around offering to collect/deliver cars.Don't know the address but it's a Stalybridge number.

Mate and a tow rope unless there is something preventing it being towed, obviously avoid the motorway though.

I was also going to say, for 15 miles, just use a tow pole??

If your RAC cover has just expired then you can rejoin upto 120 days after renewal date, they have to honour the tow even though you broke down when you was not covered.
