as above, had a look on ebay to no avail... anyone know of an alternative?
cheers!
i have got one that i chopped and joined to make it 40mm shorter
Why did you make it shorter?
Probably because he shortened the sump?
I think Burtons might sell them - I needed one a while back and sure I saw them on there (I managed to get one from a friend so didn't need to buy in the end!).

Aren't they the same?
I had a pinto with a normal sump and fitted the RS2000 alloy sump and that was the same?

Generally the oil level is the same for any Pinto sump.
i.e. The upper level is relative to the block , sump capacity for the different sumps should give a similar max level.
What you should do is fill the sump with the correct amount of oil and mark the dip stick or cut down the tube.
if you shorten the sump you should add capacity to the sides to make up the volume.

I've got a spare one too if you still need one.
Cheers

It doesn't matter what you do to the sump, the max oil level stays the same, ie x Cm below the crank. So the max level on the dipstick is still correct.

it had to be shortened as it wouldn't go all the way in. i chopped the sump and winged it then made new marks for max and min.
