Im looking for a pair of dampers 14inch open length x 2.25 inch dia, used in good condition or cheapish new units, the existing set up is spax with 1/2inch eyes but 12mm would be ok.

For new and good value look at Gaz on the Rally Design web site.

Watch out for 1/2" and 12mm Eyes / bushes on the ends.
Gaz do a sleeved shim for using 12mm bolts with 1/2" Eys on the shocks.
Check your bolt sizes first and the holes in the chassis first... I suspect they will be 12mm, but well worth checking before buying anything.

A bargain may not be all it seems when they dont fit!


EDIT:
I have 2.25" Dia Gaz on the Viento, and no problems after 4 years on the road. Year 5 coming up! Mind you they are close to the top arms on the front suspension.
I only went 2.25" as its a Viento with a V8 ie bigger and heavier than a std Se7en.

For cheap ish 14" items look out for ones off the back of a Westfield when they upgrade their Oe ones.

They are for the back of a Countach replica that I am helping someone try to make roadworthy, at present it is fitted with a rough looking pair of Spax that have leaked all there oil. Definitely 1/2 inch eyes but could ream out some 12mm ones to fit or make some bushes for the mountings.
