This is just in case anyone in the area has lying around in the garage under foot a broken type 9 no longer needed. I am after the cast steel main casing as I need to machine one and need a bit of practice or at least have a spare.

I am working on a standard Sierra 1.8 2.0 litre type with short input shaft and standard laygear and not the heavy duty type V6 or diesel.

Worth a try.
