Ive narrowed down the potential problem with not starting or getting a crank signal to the EDIS4 module (with help from scudderfish).

Does anyone have a spare locally that i can borrow / buy tonight please? I can get one tomorrow evening, but wanted to get it going tonight.

Im in stevenage, willing to travel to collect and return.

Failing that, can i try my edis module on someone elses car?

I have one you can borrow if you don't get one nearer. In Gerrards Cross, not a million miles away but still a bit of a trek!

If you are struggling you the automatic Mondeo also used EDIS 4 most people search for them from an escort so you may be able to get one locally from a breakers still
