A mate of mines Peugeot 106 has drastically failed the MOT today, he spent £400 ish on it last month because he boiled the engine coming back from wales, he has just bought his first house & his Mrs is now pregnant.

They are looking for a diesel family car & their budget is £1000

They quite often visit family in Wales so he really wants something diesel, he is not really into cars but wants something relatively tidy, reliable, 4/5 door & something Focus or VW Bora sized.
He would love a Bora but im pretty sure thats well out of his budget.

I said i would post on here & maybe someone has something they are getting rid of ??

Or if not, any recommendations of cars/models to look out for ?
