I have a couple of parts requiring some welding, but I don’t have the confidence or ability to carry out the work myself.

Firstly, I have an engine mount which needs welded up – it’s basically just a 2”x1” box section which needs welded to a piece of plate at one end. I’ve tacked the assembly in place.

Secondly, I have a couple of braces which require welding to my roll hoop. These are 1” tubes which need welded to the hoop at one end, and to a piece of angle bar at the other. I’ve tacked all the pieces together.

Nothing too complicated, but it took me a while to make the parts, and I’m certain to make a mess of them if I attempt the work myself!

Is anyone in or near Glasgow able to carry out the work for me for a fee? I can of course deliver and collect the parts.
