Hi im a noobie on the site and im idealy after a haynes roadster or similar chassi and bits to start my kit. Wanting a full indipendant suspension set up so any help will br apreciated.
If I had spare space I would be considering this...
LOCOST KIT CAR CHASSI | eBay
Not sure what anybody else thinks?
Thats not an independent rear end chassis.
Flat pack Haynes chassis are around £250 - fully built up around double that, so not that expensive.
If you give us a bit more info about what you want from the car and your build plans we could probably advise a bit better. Incidentally if
you're looking for a more complete kit I'd consider looking at the GBS Zero (no experience with it myself, I've just looked into them)
Mines based upon the 1st edition book with home brew IRS, if I made again I would make it smaller not larger
That frame look fine but the rear end needs doing again, bending panels around those curves will look awkward, I chopped up some old steel chairs and
used the curves off these, larger radius and even, adding IRS from is easy enough, plenty of plans lying around have a look
here
