my dad is a small time fisherman/lobsterman and because of the dark nights and more fishing availiable to him he was wanting to rig a light up to a 12v battery in the boat..just means he can fish for a little longer during the nights..

any spotlight type thing will do..must be cheap or free..

The breakers are usually full with cars that have had additional spot/driving lights fitted - would one of those do?

Or search ebay for MR16 bulbs 2W LED 12V bulbs aat 3 or 4 quid...
