i am after a short bit of alloy tube, about 30 to 34mm bore , must be thick enough to weld, so would prefer at least 4mm thick, more isnt an issue

I have about 6ft foot of thick-walled ally tube but I think its closer to 40-45mm o/d. Would that be too big diameter? I can go and find it to measure if you could use it!

Got some 28.5mm id with a 1.6mm wall if that's of any use.

1.6mm thick..... i could weld that it if was stainless, but no way in a million years in alloy
