Chassis

After lots of research (still more req'd I think) I've decided to jump in and start my own build.

So, with that said, has anyone got a chassis they want to sell on? Standard book one would be best I think, unless you have something tempting bare frame, part built or just something you've lost interest in. Got my eye on a couple on the bay but thought I'd try here first.

Cash waiting, I'm in Cardiff but travelling to fetch won't be a problem ( just not the ends of the earth please )

And hello by the way

welcome to the mad house matey, I'm down west in Milford Haven work in swansea and used to live in cardiff.

You will find plenty of folk on here willing to help and offer advice.

There are a few people selling pre cut kits on ebay if you're handy with a MIG

You don't say which book. Ron Champions/ Chris Gibbs. Rons is live axle, Chris's is independent rear suspension.
If you need to do more reasearch there are loads of people on here that will be only too willing to help out and offer you good advice.

Thanks for the welcomes, I've got Rons book, but have been over on the haynes forum and had a read thru Chris' plans/differences and also taken a look at the mx5 on saturn/vodou. Lots of options.
Quite like the idea of a BMW engine ( E21 323i, how I miss THAT car) linked to sierra rear, but as I said, all I own so far is the book so still have my blank canvas.

Welding is no issue but was looking to save a little time right at the staRT

Scootz has a F27 rolling chassis with docs which is a bargin given that SVA is not cheap.

I've had a quick look at that, but it's more or less a completed car, there will be no fun to had in the build itself.
