Does anyone local to me have a spring compressor that I could borrow ? I have taken the springs off my Mx5 shocks to de-rust and paint , using a ratchet strap , but that aint gonna work to get them back on
I checked at my local motor factors , and £28 is a bit more than I want to pay for something I may never use again.......

Hi Dave - well , as soon as pos really - just the springs to paint tonight , then all will be ready to re-assemble .
Then they can go back on the car - along with the up-rights , steering rack , ARB ..........
