IMHO a quick-rack is one of the best new-part investments you can make. See Rally Design.

I have a spare reconditioned standard rack but I must agree with TimC, buy a quick rack.

ok, i see that they come in 2.4 and 2.9 turn versions.... whats best??

I would say it's down to personal preference so you'd need to try one of each in a car similar to your own. I have a 2.4 and for my car, it's very heavy to turn the wheel when slow manouvering. It's OK once up to speed. It also depends on how big your steering wheel is. IMHO, with a tiny wheel, the 2.4 may be a bit heavy but as stated, you'd have to try one to find out!

It also depends on tyre width and how heavy your engine is.

Bike engine, 13x6 wheels, 300mm steering wheel, 2.4 is fine at any speed.
