Cable operated hydraulic master cylinder
Furyous - 13/12/12 at 08:51 PM

While I was in Fury Sports Cars the other day Steve showed me a car there which a cable operated hydraulic master cylinder for the clutch. He said it was from a go kart but other than ebay I wouldn't know where to start looking for go kart bits. It would suit me well because my Fury is set up for a cable pedal but the MX5 gear box ideally uses a hydraulic system.

It looked like this:

Does anyone know where I can get one?

Looks like a Kart brake master cylinder, have a look here http://www.spellfame.co.uk/acatalog/kart-brake-system-components.html

I was going to say that looks like a Kart master cylinder..

When I raced Jade Karts they used 'Kelgate' braking components and they were the best brake systems you could use...wait for the guy next to you to brake and then brake yourself :-)

Have a search for Kelgate, Kart spares or try posting a thread on Karting UK to see what the current recommendations are.
