10mm thread with an o/d of 13.8mm don't leave much meat.

Its a top shock absorber mount for my XS1100 project bike.
To be screwed onto original mount to space shocker over 25mm.

I don't think I have any 25mm dia stock otherwise I would have done it for you.... Will check though..

That's not an easy thing to make if the threads need to be to the shoulder externally and to the bottom of the hole internally. Also, if you are doing what I think you are it's all gonna end in tears I'm afraid as the shear loadings will be far too much for the design and you'll end up with a shock up were you won't want it!

There will be increased bending moments on the original mount too but if it can take the stress then boring the spacer out and using a high tensile bolt long enough to pass through and into the original mount might be safer. That's if I've understood what your planning of course!

If you want one made and bored through then I can knock you one up later this week! Unless I've misunderstood, I'd be worried about following the original design though.
