Yep I have two, one from a CVH Sierra and one from the Zetec 78mm od and 48mm od.

Searches seem to agree 48mm is the one, unless someone pipes up........
Have a mate who works in Spalding that could pick it up.....
What alternator is it going on ?
Ford stuff is a 17mm shaft and the smaller denso alternators are a 15mm shaft but a bush is easy to make or buy.
I'll remove the 48mm od one from the alternator and measure the id so you know.
If your mate was to pick it up it would have to be in the evening or sometime over the weekend.
Have removed the pulley and is 17mm id.

Alt is an LRA100 ( I am led to believe - no sticker) and last night I found on the net that the smaller pulleys were found to over stress this model,
apparently Tiger now supply a 68mm pulley to overcome this (Paul Toyne site).
So I guess I would be better off with the 78mm jobby you have...
Will need to check shaft size tonight, but can get a collar machined anyway with no probs

On another note, my Trigger Wheel should arrive today, I intend to have a small recess machined on the crank pulley to keep it central, then drill and
tap it to fix.
So........... eventually my question, how do I determine the position of the Trigger Wheel on the crank pulley?
The lra will be a 17mm shaft.
Trigger wheel, what flywheel are you using ? sounds like your making things hard for your self. You can stick the wheel on in any place as long as you
can make a bracket to get the vr sensor in the position it needs to be.

Its ok, I have changed the flywheel to the 1.8 so original sensor not used.
Yes, will need to make a bracket, but I have a plan :-)
Thx for that, just wasnt sure if I needed to mount the TW in relation to the keyway or anything, just double checking really, measure twice drill once

The 1.8 zetec flywheel will work fine with the vr sensor and you wont have to think about the timing being out. As its mounted in the flange of the
block its ridged and will not move or flex. ???
Or have you used the 1.8 cvh flywheel ?

Anyone need a brand new Trigger Wheel ??
Black or silver 2.0 fly's are the same as are 1.6~1.8. They are a different clutch size ie 220mm and 240mm but the dia of all the fly's are
the same.
as long as yours has the holes on the back you don't need a trigger wheel and you wont get the same accuracy or reliability either.
side by side as they just happen to be on the bench.

Only other thing you need to know is if the engine came from an auto or manual. The cps housing is different.
