What price should a 4x4 rear end go for?
Avoneer - 15/10/04 at 07:18 PM

Hi,
What sort of price should I be paying for a 3.62 lsd, shafts, hubs, calipers and discs?
Realistic prices please...
Cheers,
Pat...

Second hand back ends, advertised on the Donorspares website for £245 inc VAT!

I got a back end from Andy last year (was a lower price then - £175!) and the quality was pretty reasonable.

Probably find them cheaper at you local srappy though, but you'll have to remove them yourself!

Pat I thought you'd bagged your self a bargain!

I've now got my LSD and driveshafts if you do want my old ones.

Cheers

I thought you were picking up a back end from darn sarf?

Granny was involved.......

Are you collecting Sierras?

We bought a whole 4x4 2.9 Sierra for £125. Stripped it down then sold what was left for £85 IIRC

That one darn salf fell through.
May just stick with the one Sierra for ow and strip it for bits for my fury - sell the engine and earbox though and everything else - may still want your back end so don't flog it yet.
Avon may go sooner than later - Hellfire is working on that i think.

I paid £40 for my 4x4 rear end and it came with a free Sierra bolted to it. Used the engine out of it too and it made an easy way of getting it home!
