having decided on aroad runner sr2 I now need a donor, ideally a 1.6 s special, limited or similar. If anyone knows of oen being scrapped, mot failure or similar please let me know.

My neighbor has one. Think he wants £500-£600 for it.

Why the preference for a special? Most parts that make up the various 'limited edition' cars don't actually make it on to the kit car. My donor was a v spec, and even though I took a lot more of the donor than most people do, the only things that are v spec specific are the leather seats.

Did they do a 1.6 with a torsen?
