I've tried several radiators in my plastic car from my pile of radiators, before realising why the ile of radiators are there: they are all
knackered.
When I first fitted a 3 ltr V6, I used the rad from the donor which worked fine but it rotted and started to leak. I found a Polo radiator and that
didn't get rid of enough heat so I fitted a bigger rad. It also failed to dump enough heat and soon developed leaky joints. Next I fitted a
Transit rad just a few moments before I remembered that I took it off my Transit because it leaked...... The one fitted now is from the same pile but
is too small.
Before I go on a scrapyard hunt, has anyone got anything kicking about?
Ideally, it wants to have both hoses on the left (looking from the back) and a bleed on the top however there is enough room to have the hoses
anywhere!
TIA.

Tons of room! I have a couple of radiator catalogues so I may just order somethng that looks big enough. I was asking aroud to see if anyone had anything shiney cluttering up the garage.
Dunno if it will be of any use to you but I have a new rad for a Granada Mk II (2.8 V6) in the garage. Measures approx 620mm x 400mm (plus the brackets and side tanks) but the hoses are diagonally set

I'm using a London Taxi rad on my V8 its canny big and has oil cooler connections.
Cheap enough off the bay...
Just an example, theres tons of them across ebay..
LONDON TAXI TX1 FAIRWAY DRIVER 2.7 TD TURBO DIESEL AUTO/MANUAL RADIATOR
The MG ZT rad looks to be 464mm high and 812mm wide which will work, as will the 8mm bleed and inlet/outlet orientation. I'll double check the
hole I have to fill and see what fans I have that would fit. Good spot BT.
Coozer, I'll keep the Taxi rad in reserve....
Thanks guys.
