Now to say the budget is limited is well a joke it's a charity job

I need someone to repair the cracked body plastics for

No good with that sort of thing ! I have repaired the electrics and mechanicals but need help with the plastics

Anyone willing to help out as a favour ?

I recently repaired a motorbike fairing which had both cracks and a couple of small pieces missing.
Whilst researching how to do it I stumbled on a method.
Most of these things are ABS plastic, same as used in solvent weld plumbing pipes. Abs dissolves completely
in acetone and you can make a lovely thick repair paste over a 48 hour period. Then prepare your fairing by
sanding off the paint and grinding the crack into a valley, liberally coat with your paste and leave for a few days
for the acetone to evaporate. You're left with ABS plastic again. And as the paste still has solvent properties
it bonds perfectly to the fairing. Sand back as required.
I used very thin aluminium sheet to make mould for the missing bits, lubed then with some silicone spray and
was able to remake them.

Overall I was well chuffed with the results.
