need a steel tube about 1" long,6" id and 1/8th wall, anyone got such an animal in their back pocket?
also the alloy tubes you see on the roof of builders vans for carrying copper pipes etc
Conrod , are you sure about the size as it looks like you are after a piece one inch long by six inchs internal diameter and one eight of an inch wall thickness?? Would an old hydraulic ram be any good, have a mate who is a hydraulic engineer and makes rams , he may be able to help. Rusty
a slip of the finger there, yup about 1 foot long,6 inch id and 1/8th inch wall,a hyd cyl would do,let me know?cheers dude
plumbers make the tubed pipe holders from drain pipes dont they ?
Plumbers use a length of plastic stench pipe (soil pipe) with blanks on each end. Are you building a bazooka John ? Get on scrapheap challenge and
look for a lorry engine with wet liners.

John - there's an alu tube like that in the roof of the barn. Probably 4" diameter rather than 6" but it might do?
Chris
