Looking at building a kiddies go-kart for my 3 year old. Anyone got any parts they want rid of?
I built a toy car for my grandson - https://bensswingbincar.wordpress.com/bens-swing-bin-car-or-how-to-build-one-like-it/ - I have golf trolley motor that never got fitted
Not got any parts myself, but have built a few go-karts over the years. My local household tip has proved a good source of bicycle bits for cheap and
with some fabrication to suit they often make things quick and cheap to do. One other lesson I've learnt is that kids grow bigger fast so plan
ahead and make it so it can accommodate larger kids as required. Final tip - an old office chair can make a good seat, comfy and easy to use.
4" x 2" and plywood left overs made into a push kart...
Inspiration...
IIRC the wheels were from Screwfix, but I fabricated the axles from Ø25 tube and 25mm angle iron.

that needs one of these -
and some steering!
For the toylander I built I moved the batteries in the back to lighten the steering and am going to use the 4 cylinder model engine in the empty
engine bay, it's just the right size.
