My personal financial adviser (the wife) has been persuaded to release the purse strings a little so I am seeking to fulfil a life long dream.

The ultimate dream is a road going Phoenix with a bike engine and reverse gear.

I am happy to build up to this so am looking for a starting point which could be a Striker to rebody, or track day car to get on to the road and I am not too worried about the engine at this stage (although having one would be good).

Depending on the spec I am looking to spend (£2,000 to £3500).
