Currently a bit disappointed with the engine in my car as it's stock. I'm looking for a Pinto with a bit more power to it, and possibly the carbs to go with it? Willing to pay the price for the right engine.

I put a BMW 2.8 straight 6 (M52B28) where a Pinto was supposed to be. Haven't been disappointed at all TBH

I can imagine, I am looking for straight swap though before Looking down the route of a full swap. There's a few engines that could drop in but you still need to alter gearboxes and ECUs it starts to be a very big job.

Convert to efi and out a turbo on the stock pinto. Amazing fun 🙂

I think if I was going to go down the turbo route I'd stick in a Saab b204 lump 2L strong internals and easily modded to near 300bhp
