Hello,
I'm quite close to finally being in a position to get a BEC kit car.
I'm interested in anything apart from a Robin Hood really so MK Indy, MNR Vortx, Westfield etc and also any engine - so Fireblade, ZX9/10/12, R1
anything really. Not as keen on an early carbed bike engine but I wouldn't be averse to getting one.
I will likely have the money within the next 8-10 weeks and should have a budget of around 10k but ideally want to keep it lower than this if
possible. Does anyone have anything coming up for sale in the next few months at all?
If so can you kindly PM please with further info.
Many thanks
Marc

Should be lots to choose from. Seen a few good ones recently. The Mnr are by far the best looking in my opinion but unlikely on your budget.

I’ll have a Sylva striker with a R1 engine in it for sale probably about the end of January

mac1#worx zx10r kit car ,l Mk indy ,caterham 7 , Westfield bike engined car Bec
My lovely zx10r powerd Mac#1
I'm still in two minds about selling mine....
Here are the details anyway
Built in 2009 and bought by me in 2013 (I think?)
I've rebuilt it and modified it loads since then and spent a lot of time developing and improving it.
It has a 1998 cbr900 engine, apart from self inflicted issues by myself these engines are bullet proof!
13" team dynamics and a spare set of 15" ones
R888R tyres
Full cage with custom side impact bars
Full under tray with custom splitter and diffuser
AB performance paddle shifters
Titan harnesses
Sierra brakes with mintex 1144 pads all round
Reinforced rear uprights
Alloy coolex radiator
Carbon CSR style cycle wings
Carbon aero screen
Protech dampers
3.92 LSD
Mocal roll over fuel valve
I'll also include a homade trailer which is very handy. I made it so that it fits into a single garage and can be taken apart to leave the car
sat on the bed and the axle and draw bar can be stored seperately.
I'm after £10,000
