I'm wanting to add a handbrake to me Fisher. Its currently running XR3 disc on the axle and a Hydraulic handbrake.
Anyone got an original drum brake set up please?
Regards
Phil
Maybe easier to get some h brake calipers to fit Sierra / focus or vw ones
There are a number of bracket kits for the Sierra hand brake caliper. Some weld on and some replace the drum backing plate and bolt on. I have 4x4
caliper son my anglia with a bolt on kit. But make sure you check out the measurements as these are different on anglia/escort/cortina. I had to adapt
mine fir my anglia.
If you want alloy caliper there are also kits for the golf caliper about.

I’ve not managed to do anything with the car yet. I’m more inclined to go back to drums. More for an efficient handbrake and less efficiency (don’t
want rears to lock up)
Anyone out there with some back plates etc.
Cheers
Phil
I've got a pair of 8" drum brakes, complete with cylinders, adjusters shoes and drums.
Where are you?
