Refurbed M16s (brakes, not guns)
ethomas - 23/5/05 at 03:36 PM

I am in need of a pair of refurbed M16s, I have some to exchange and wonder what the best/cheapest place is for these?

Alternatively, if anyone has some for sale, I am interested.

Cheers,

Ed

About £33 each+VAT and £20 surcharge.

Thats who I used for all my brake related bits. The guy I spoke to was very helpful and delivery was quick.

Not returned my calipers yet... Its going to cost as much to return as I would get for refund...

There is a guy doing fully refurbed calipers on ebay for £40 each + £9.50 delivery (covers up to 20kg). Search for "M16 calipers".

He does not require any exchange calipers to be provided so it might work out cheaper.

Cheers,

Ed

They should have included a delivery credit note in with your callipers- so you can send them back for free.

That's what they did with mine anyway.

Hmmm, I did ask when I ordered but was told to get them back under my own steam... I did get free delivery cos I ordered all I need for front and back.

Try your local motor factor. Reconditioned M16's are readily available. Mine were £32 each exchange less than a mile from home.
