hi lewis. I have 3 props, i can cut off the front part if you want sometime. Im up in cumbernauld in a few weeks. All type 9 props.

The front piece that fits gearbox is called the 'Nose'. Mac#1 sell the front nose with first UJ, you simply weld the tube onto the boss at the back of the UJ. You need to specify the tube diameters.

Thanks guys.
when are you in cumbernauld joel?

no disrespect intented but make sure you get it welded by a pro (wouldn't like that F####R letting go by my legs) but there again having seen the state of the welding by a so called chassis builder on kitcar crisis .......seriously make sure it's welded properly if the weld does give way it's bad

Yeah dont worry i am getting it done proffesionally but require both ends of the props for them to make it up.
Thats one part of the build i would never try to save a few bob on. just not worth it.

im in cumbernauld around the first few days of august. The props i have are all rubber donut ones rather than universal joint ones - are these not what you're after?

doesnt really matter joel, all i need is the splined (or nose) end. just cut off at the end of the shaft.
however i work offshore and i am back at work on the 1st of august.
