M8 Stainless cap heads
DarrenW - 25/7/05 at 10:23 AM

Im after 65 off stainless M8 x 10mm long cap head screws and washers. Does anyone have some or know a good supplier.
A mate of mine is going to check his fasteners warehouse later but im not sure if he'll have any.

Ive just had some wheels shot blasted. They have plastic fake cap heads inserted to give them a split rim appearance. They would look great if replaced with better ones (blasting has damaged the plastic). I could also used anodised / plated fasteners if stainless not available as they will be getting lacquered after installation. I have also considered getting std black ones and painting them before fitting but not sure of ill chip them when tightening up. They wont see any load - purely aesthetic.

Let me know.
Cheers,
darren.

Do you want to add that much weight to your wheels?

I realize they will look much better.

Another thought - Google for "Probolt". They do ally bolts anodized in all pretty colours. Demon Tweeks have them if all else fails. Maybe Bike shops too
