Before I go to the normal suspects,has anyone in Yorkshire got a good one that'll fit a Citreon/Peuguot?I'll take a complete car if nessacery.Failling that anyone want to buy a 306 T/d Pug with a sick motor,3 door sports job.Alloys.ABS blah blah.10 months test.

How sick is it mate? Jumped belt or something?

I know a bloke thats just put a lump in a 306. 50 quid from a breakers complete. May be worth phoning around.

His was a Td sport p reg had it give to him. flogged it for 2 grand. I tried to get it when the engine was buggered but he wouldnt get id.

Well sick.Its done the h/gasket big time.It stinks of burnt oil.I've got it as salvage fairly cheap.The time it takes to do a 'gasket or change the lump is pretty much the same.The head thats here will reqiure work.I have seen engines from 100 to 400(!!!!) so it'll be simpler to drop an engine.One afternoon and done.Rather than strip.I.d.Get the work done,find something else amiss.....I'm going to ring round.Just thought i'd ask here 1st.
