Im thinking of retro fitting a set of 4AGE 20v throttle bodies etc, onto a 16V 4AGE engine. Does anyone have any experience of this mod, or happen to have in their possesion, the 20v inlet system, I believe it comes from a Corolla AE101.

You many run into problems with the inlet port size. Do you have the small port of large port head on your 4AGE. The way to tell this is that if your engine originally had the TVIS system then you have the large port head.

I definately have the small port head, I am doing a complete engine rebuild from scratch, and am just trying to investigate the various methods of induction. I thought using the individual pots from the 20v might be a cost efficient and effective way of doing this?

They make a manifold that plenty of the locals appear to use to adapt the ITB's to the 16V. When you cost it out, you'd be hard pressed to make them for much less, unless you can do the machining and welding for yourself. I'll be ordering mine in the new year.
