Wheels - 95mm PCD - no offset!
lsdweb - 18/12/05 at 10:49 AM

Hi All

I need a set of wheels and tyres that have a 95mm PCD and little or no offset. Condition immaterial!

These are to fit on my single seater so that I can get it to fit on my trailer! They will only be used for when the car is on the trailer so even if the tyres are asolutely wrecked it doesn't matter.

Does anybody know what wheels would suit? I've read somewhere that Maestro/Montego are this size?

Regards

Wyn

Might sound silly but make some from 1" thick plywood discs. F1 teams have used billet alloy ones and if they are "true" you can utilise them for measurements whilst setting up the suspension.

I'd thought of that but I need to be able to move the car around, sometimes in a grass paddock and 1" ply wheels wil sink pretty quick!

Most single seaters used the small Triumph PCD 3.75" 95.25mm This was also used on the Marina/Ital because it used a Triumph axle.

K engined Metros/Rover 100 have it and the MGF/MGTF also used it.

Thanks BritishTrident

My choice is quite wide - I'll head to the breakers tomorrow!

Triumph Toledo/1300/1500 wheels will have a bigger inset than herald/spitfire wheels, the marina will stick further out than spitfire etc.
