Looking for an in line Bosch electric fuel pump as fitted to lots of differnt cars.
Engine will run but just needs the pump.
Please Help
Vauxhall carlton 2 litre's inj mate. Some are in tank but some are in line and are just what your looking for.
It depends if you're running carbs or fuel injection........
I allready had a pump but it is now broken the engine ran for 30 seconds then the pump died
......but are you running carbs or fuel injection? Without that info there's no point people recommending one or t'other
Oh right I see what you are getting at.
I have injection but I know what pump I want the reason the existing one blew was that it got some swarf in it from new tank but I have now fitted a
pre pump filter.
The mount I have made under the back of the car is desgined to take a bosch in line pump like this one.
as said some old vauxhalls use these - mk2 astra's, cavailers etc.
Ned.
Yes the faulty one is out of a Nova GTE.
No one got one kicking around then.
Dam swarf that will teach me.
I'll have a look you might be very lucky. It'll be the weekend though before I get out.
I have once before removed/stripped the crimped ends of one of these pumps and removed the poo that was blocking it. You could try this as you
won't break it any more than you already have.

I found one under a Sierra last week , a bit hard to get at in the scrapyard but a good source .Its just behind the axle on a mount with a damper unit
as well .

I am trying to work out how to mount my pump and filter but its a bit tight for space, have you any photos of how it fits?
Paul.

It sits inside what can only be described as a huge rubber grommet, made out of neoprene type material with a saddle across it to secure.(just read
this and hope it makes sense)
So an inner tube cut into 2inch wide strips and wrapped round a couple of times would probably do the job nicely.
Hi, sorry no pump but if its from a vauxhall have a trawl through this site and hopefully you will getfixed up sharpish

Pump and outlet side filter mounted here in two lengths of alloy tube.
I have found an ignition coil bracket is a good fit with a layer of bike inner tube between it and the pump , just need to sort out a layout to
accomadate pump , inlet filter and swirl pot plus low pressure pump.I intend to fit a boot floor so am restricted to the lower half of the rear
bulkhead or on the lower chassis rails infront of the axle.
