Have got chance of wrote of mr2 with good engine, (cheep) How much of a job would it be to match up to a gear box.

adapter bellhousing from raw or try and find a very rare t50 rwd corolla box iirc.

Don't think the T50 box would take the power of the turbo engine depending on engine age could be up at 245bhp

Can you use the same bellhousing on a 3SGTE as the 4AGE then? I'd be surprised if you could.

wasn't there a query about some other drive train component? (can't remember which) but the fianl opinion was that with the low wieiht, rear wheels would spin hence less strain on the drive train components?

How about the gearbox from a supra?

The 3sgte is excellent, so its gotta be worth persevering

Fensport would be the company to contact, they do pretty much everything for a performance toyota.

Great engines, I ran a Rev3 MR2 turbo for a year, Zena diode mod and decat see's reliable 280BHP.

The gearbox in a Turbo is much larger than a n/a MR2, you will definately need a strong box to cope.
