Indicator extenders
Jumpy Guy - 31/3/06 at 07:46 PM

I need some indicator extenders, and wondered is anyone has-

1 some spare from when they 'fell off' sfter SVA
OR
2 a lathe etc and can make some 'nice' ones

I have made some, but they look a bit temporary and crap- i might want to keep mine after SVA if i can get some 'nice' ones..

The bottom of the coilover is covered with a steering rack gator i purchased from martini car parts at a kit show, the top is from martini as well but much heavier gauge with a kink in so it fits well.

Paid £3 for the two pairs

SVA man liked them as they are car parts which is what they look for.

If you get some its a good idea to keep them,we have an SVA box we pass around with odds and ends in to help others.

Motor cycle shops sell extensions for these at £5 a pair.
I dont know how long they are though.

extenders from a bike shop?

hmmm. Never seen em... thanks, will give my local place a ring...

Yer.
Iwas talking to a chap at work who was fitting some new indicators to his bike.

He said he had a problem because when the new ones were fitted to the frame of the bike thay didn't fully protrude the fairing. But then said he would have to get the extensions they were selling.

Radio controlled car tyres can be used aswell.

I am working on it; my solution will be better than palstic conduit. If my wleding goes ok toniught, should have something to show within the next few days.

piddy, any chance you could ask which bike shop had the extenders?

looked in a few, and a few on-line shops, and have never seen them...

Thanks
