stevetzoid - 2/5/06 at 09:29 PM

Hi I live in Leicester and I have been told I can pick my chassis and parts up on Saturday, I need to borrow or have the help of someone on Saturday morning only going to Notts. My trailer is in the pipeline but not ready yet.
I am a member of the 750 club anyone nearbye that can help, beer tokens or cash.
Regards Steve Evans.

Hi mate - if ya get REAL stuck - then go hire a Mercedes Sprinter - you can fit a chassis in there no problem

I've also seen them go in the long Renualt vans.

Just a suggestion if nobody comes through with a trailer.

Another tip - take some thick wood - the width of the Van - you can then put this across the wheel arches raising the front of the chassis - so it fits easier - also take plenty of padding - don't wanna damage the powder coat

i put my chassis on the roof rack on the top of an escort van . there is no great weight in a chassis . get some roof bars and strap it to your tin top . just another option. cheers scott
