SVA Mirrors
ReMan - 12/6/06 at 09:47 AM

I'm after some mirrors that will fit on my MK indy which I can use to see whats behind me and pass the SVA and look OK would be a bonus.
Was going to use Fireblade mirrors I have but they are too short and wont tilt to the right angle to see past my shoulders, let alone a spot on the groung 35 yards away or whatever it is!
Someone give me a clue for less than £50

Cheers, Col

CBR 600 - less than £30! Not genuine Honda though...mount on wedges to guarantee view.

also not genuine..

as close as possible to the steeringwheel will garantee the sva pass!

Tks

I've just bought some CBR600 mirrors - long stem 140mm - panic buy, that I'm probably not gonna fit now - change of plan.

Suggested fit - see hellfire

Will let you know tomorrow if I haven't used them tonight? Could drop em off see what you think?

Honda cub moped mirrors. Nice and cheep and sva friendly, the support arm can be bent to the angle you need.

Mokaloid, I like those, they look more adjustable than the Honda ones, have you SVA'd with them? (if its not a stupid question, as you obviously have a plate)

I'm confused about the long stem ,140mm type. Where is the 140 measured? The ones I have measure 140 down the mouldline at the rear of the rubber cover, is this right?
The ones on ebay are about £50
