r1 bike carbs

hi all,

as the title says really, im after some R1 bike carbs and a pinto maniflod for them if possible, ive got my eye on ebay but if anybody hears of any for sale let me know, if the manifold is not possible to find then i can get bogg bros to make me a stainless one.

i am looking to replace my twin 40 webers, as i am having a space problem in the engine bay.

all eyes and ears open please fella's

yeah i spotted those, what else will i need to set them up on my pinto, apart from a manifold, that i will have to have made from bogg bros.

You will need either a pressure regulator or a bike fuel pump as the carbs are very sensitive to pressure. An electric car pump will override the needle valve and will flood them.

i have a facet electric fuel pump and a king pressure regulator, is that ok to connect up to bike carbs

As long as you can get the pressure down to 2-3 psi it should be fine.

If you go the Megajolt route make sure you have the Thottle Position Sensor which comes with the carbs as these are not cheap to buy.
