Swap my steering wheel?
Humbug - 8/8/06 at 09:36 PM

I've got a Mountney 11" flat wheel in black (traditional 6 hole fixing). It's been on the car since I built it (SVA Oct 05) but I could really do with the wheel a bit closer (short arms, you see!).

Anyone got a 11" or 12", dished or semi-dished, black or shiny metal one that they would consider swapping? Rescued attachment steering wheel.JPG

Just in case no one wants to swap, and I'm not 100% sure it has the ability to extend, but have you considered swapping to an adjustable steering column instead?

There is a commonly available Sierra rack that is adjustable.

Cheers,
James

Thanks, James. I'll see what happens - I think a change of wheel would be less complicated than changing the whole column

This looks good - thanks. For others, here's the link on WSCC: http://boardroom.wscc.co.uk/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=8;t=42548;hl=steering+wheel+spacer
