I need tosend a gearbox weighing around 22 kgs tothe other end of the country what is the best agent to send it by?
I have used www.postvan.co.uk before which gives about 32 kg for about £20 but as the load is a bit lighter I wondered if there is anything else??
Seem to remember someone sending an engine crane for less on ebay one day but didn't make a note of carrier

i have sent diffs etc before in excess of 30kg using staples.. they only charge £8 and its dhl next day, they told me if i can lift it onto the counter, they will send it!

No Joy , DHL depot is in Manchester local Staples is an agent but can't handle 22Kgs. Ketchup you must live in a nice place!!
DHL quoting £52 which is a non starter.
Any one else know of anything better?
