reading your other post, it was the M535i that used the getrag dogleg box wasn't it.

Yes but only for 1 year.

From my investigations my spare came from a e12 bmw m535i dont know the reg.

Can post some picks if you need.

But BMW did do dogleg boxses with integeral bellhousing.
