Throttle return spring
Furious D - 5/10/06 at 12:06 PM

Had the tune up done yesterday and it is running much better however, when revving it up to say 3k it drops quickly to 2k then very slowly down to 1k, spoke to the tunning place and he said that i need to attach a beefier throttle return spring or attach another one to a different point.

Where is the best place to buy them from.

first Id WD and work the throttle at the same time in the engine bay so it lubes it up

then Id check your peddle bolt isnt just a tad to tight

then if all else fails Id but a return spring

I am glad you suggest that, means i am learning because that is what i did

When manually playing with the carbs and putting the throttle linkage back with your hands it is find, it is just the last 1mm until it is totally back to where it started.
