Aaaagh! I was just out in my car when the gear shift went light. Somehow I lost the bolt that holds the gearshift arm onto the shift shaft. Nevermind, I thought, I can get home from here in 1 gear. I slotted the arm back onto the shaft, selected 1st and drove away, 2nd, 3rd, the arm came off again. Got home, looked under the bonnet, the arm has dissapeared, taking an M5 rod end bearing with it. I've walked the last 1/2 mile of the journey both ways and driven the last 2 miles. nothing.

has anyone got an R1 splined shift arm or a female M5 rod end bearing. please

If your struggling for the rod end can drop one in post 1st thing in morning for you, u2u your addy if you need one.

If MNR don't do the splined arm MK certainly do if your stuck, well not the arm but the splined bit too weld your own fabricated arm too.
