Does anyone have any spare die grinder bits or know a cheap place to get them?

Im after some carbide ones rather than stone. I have an ali manifold to port. Local place doesnt stock them so cant give price.

Cheers,
Darren.

I bought a couple of carbide cutters from ebay. They were cheap, but seemed well up to the job. Just watch the shaft sizes, as some are 6mm and some are 1/4".

Search for 'carbide burr' on ebay.

Look on google for carbide burrs, lots of them for sale at reasonable prices in 1/8" or 1/4" shank.

If you are porting an alloy head with carbide burs, a good tip is to keep dipping it in oil to avoid the teeth getting clogged. Only use it for major metal removal though, it can be almost as quick and easier to control to use emery cloth wrapped around a felt bobbin
