has anyone got a pair of rear shafts or rear inner joints for sale
cheers bigrich
Ive just asked my LandRover specialist mate. He doesnt have any as they dont often need replacing but he will try his contacts. What sort of money
would you expect to have to pay? (just asking in case he rings back and they are silly money) Im no expert on them so if there are different types
then let me know any specific requirements.
If he can lay his hands on a pair i will be in the area next Wednesday. Dont hold your breath!
Interestingly he asked why do people use these (the diffs that is) as in the LandRover world they are regarded as poo! Soemething to do with them not
being particulalry robust in Freelanders, however i doubt the torque of a bike engine would cause an issue.

the torque is still very high..
because the bike engine makes more revs
and has a primairy...
Sow in fact if the primairy is 1,7
and first gear is 2,8..
and you have 90NM of torque..
90*1,7=153NM *2.8 = 428.4 then comes the diff ratio.. 3,6? gives 1542.24NM on the driveshafts max!
Tks
you could try these
