Cheapy laptop?
RazMan - 5/1/07 at 05:24 PM

I keep borrowing a laptop for tweaking my ecu map and I really ought to put my hand in my pocket and get one.
Trouble is there is not much money in the pocket

Has anyone got a small lappy with a price that won't give me heart palpitations?

i have a dell 1150 that is about 2 years old (i am told) that doesnt have a battery or a power lead so i dont know if it even works but

its got a 2.4 ghz processor
256 RAM
40 Gig Hard drive

because i dont know if it works and its missing stuff make me an offer (if its above a £60 offer im going to slap you)

its probably not much use to you unless you are willing to buy a power lead and take the risk.......i just thought i might let you know ive got something that might be useful....

anyways..
cheers

Matt

have an older toshiba in full working order that i was using to setup a megajolt, it is fully functional with the tuning software loaded along with XP, not blistering but fine for the job, complete with all leads, case etc, £90 + P&P

Thanks for the link Scoobylav - 'tis a bit too ancient for what I have in mind as I want to run XP and office as well as Easymap.
