Cheap Laptop Wanted

I know it's a longshot but, I'm looking for a cheap laptop for use in the garage. It looks like I need to run an 'On Board Diagnostics' programme to fix my wretched Alfa and all the info I have gleaned points to either a very expensive Code reader or a much cheaper Link Lead and programme to run off a 'puter.
I'm not dragging this PC out into the wilderness that is my garage as it will never work again!!
Someone must have a crappy old Etchasketch that is taking up space???

I have a dell CPi p350,

Not cuttig edge, and the battery is not great, but it has the mains power supply and is installed with win 2000 and office 97.
All the keys work and it seems to be ok.

Its around 7 years old.

U2U if your intrested.

I owe you for help with the Alfa V6.

I also need a new laptop for megajolt since I left a 300W halogen inspection rather too close to the old thinkpad...doh.

p.s. I saw Al at the Autosport show. I say I saw him - he was 10 feet away as he had a rowdy mob of people around him! I didn't see any JCs though so I didn't make the effort....
