we roll the stuff here
but ive just looked on stock and the
nearest we keep is 130 mm square
below that is 115mm but all our bright bar
is square section

Needs to be round I'm afraid, only have a 3 jaw chuck!!!

I'm turning bosses to mount 108mm cosworth CV joints to a 50mm hollow driveshaft, and mount sprockets to the back of the same bosses.

Have you got a hydraulic ram repairers near you ? not mild steel but may have the size you need from an old ram if youll excuse the expresion.

hmmmm, interesting idea, will ave a look, there are a lot of ram repairers here as we are surrounded by quarries!

really just needs to be weldable steel so ram tube/piston rod will do the trick
