does anyone in the leeds, wakefield, bradford area have a hydraulic press that i could use please.
need to press the wheel bearing out of my 205 race car hub. tried the FBH method but to no avail, it looks like i will have to do it properly

i dont no if your where the same. but i used a bit of all tread a large socket and a few washers you use the socket over the hole put the tread in the throght the hole and bearing put the washers and nuts on and wind them out

I took my Nissan hub to the garage where I get MOT and Dennis pressed the old one out and the new one in, he's a very nice man. When I told him I'd tried the hammer he told me I'd obviously used the wrong hammer.

Smashing VW's in Hunslet have a press. I have used them before. Friendly enough.
